Airtasker USA has raised US$9.75 million in media capital from iHeartMedia and TelevisaUnivision to scale its brand in the US market.
TelevisaUnivision is providing US$4.75 million in advertising inventory for a 17.1% equity stake in Airtasker USA, while iHeart is offering US$5.0 million in advertising inventory in exchange for a 4-year convertible note.
These partnerships will give Airtasker access to 276 million monthly iHeart audio listeners and 100 million daily TelevisaUnivision users across various media platforms.
The deals build on Airtasker's global media partnership strategy, aiming to significantly boost brand awareness in the United States, particularly among the Hispanic market.
