Airwallex has recently completed our Series E extension (“Series E2”) with continued support from our existing investors as well as new investors, raising an additional US$100 million, while sustaining our valuation at US$5.5 billion.
With this latest round of fundraising, the total investment into Airwallex stands at US$902 million.
Square Peg, Salesforce Ventures, Sequoia Capital China, Lone Pine Capital, Hermitage Capital, 1835i Ventures and Tencent, as well as HostPlus, an Australian industry superannuation fund, and a leading North American pension fund participated in this round, and we are grateful for the investors’ confidence in Airwallex’s core business value and fundamentals.
