Why did the business start ? : From a young age, Aaron Bassin’s parents instilled in him that ‘bricks last forever’ and coming from a migrant family, they always aspired for the Great Australian Dream of owning property. After a decade of experience as a finance and business analyst, he identified an opportunity to provide a tech lead property solution that will help Aussie homeowners progress, co-founding Bridgit (formerly TechLend) with mortgage broker Nick Jacobs.
Why the name ?: We wanted to modernise the bridging loan experience in the market and establish our company as a household brand with Australians.
