Data Zoo, a leading global identity verification solutions provider, has secured $35 million in Series A funding from Ellerston JAADE, an Ellerston Capital fund. This investment will fuel Data Zoo's expansion and enhance its identity verification software, which offers access to authoritative data from over 170 countries. The software also features advanced data sequencing for improved efficiency and maximum conversions while prioritizing data protection and privacy by not storing identity data.

Data Zoo aims to provide a secure and efficient alternative to legacy solutions, enhancing KYC/KYB compliance and fraud prevention measures. This funding follows the appointment of Charlie Minutella, former London Stock Exchange Group executive, as CEO in February 2024. Minutella emphasizes Data Zoo's unique ability to efficiently onboard diverse, global customers, meet compliance standards, and enhance data privacy.

The investment from Ellerston JAADE, a fund that focuses on high-growth Australian companies, represents a significant milestone as Data Zoo's first outside investment. Ellerston JAADE's Investment Director, David Leslie, highlights Data Zoo's innovative platform and successful expansion into challenging markets like North America as key investment factors.

Data Zoo is trusted by leading financial institutions, payment providers, and fintechs to verify millions of customers while minimizing fraud and risk. With headquarters in Sydney, Australia, and offices worldwide, Data Zoo continues to solidify its position as a trusted identity provider, now with additional backing from Ellerston JAADE's investment.
