Why did the business start? We are on a mission to democratise access to technology to enable a new breed of innovation. Blockbuster was the first retailer to sell third-party Gift Cards back in 1994 - fast forward to 2022, and not a great deal of change has happened. Karta’s world-first issuance and distribution platform connects merchants and consumers with no integration whatsoever, enabling every retailer, everywhere, to simplify their Gift Card experience.
