The Salter Brothers Tech Fund has led a $4.9m investment in Marketboomer, a proptech company offering a B2B eProcurement SaaS platform for the hospitality industry.

Marketboomer, established in 1995, operates globally across 23 countries with over 10,000 active monthly users and 20,000 active suppliers. The investment provides growth capital for expansion in Australia, South East Asia, and the United Kingdom, with the Tech Fund and co-investors acquiring approximately 20% of Marketboomer's shares.

This marks the Tech Fund's second transaction, following its lead investment in Prospa's take-private scheme, and aligns with its strategy of targeting established, growing companies with positive earnings in need of expansion capital.
