About the Company:
Spark provides tuition loans to high-calibre students ANZ students travelling overseas and international students coming to Australia with the goal to democratize education by using AI to better understand the employment outcomes of these students.
Recent Highlight
Spark launched its offering in early 2021. Since then Spark has received over $45M in loan applications (from ~700 students) and has over $5M worth of tuition loans. Spark has officially partnered with Top universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, LBS, Yales, INSEAD, UNSW, Columbia and MBS to help with customer acquisition, meaning. We have also obtained positive publicity in several publications, including the AFR (link). We have recently obtained our latest debt facility ($50m) and are now looking to scale.
Why the Name:
Spark is meant to represent the Spark that education and bring to someone’s life. Education can be life-changing and can bring spark to someone’s career. We want to help these talented people access the education the deserve to accelerate and change their lives.
